What Happens During a Morpheus8 Treatment?
After one of our experienced therapists has performed a thorough consultation and examination to ensure you are a suitable candidate for this procedure, they will apply a topical anesthetic to ensure your experience is as comfortable as possible. Please allow for 30 - 40 minutes for the anesthetic to take effect.
A suitable treatment head will be selected to ensure the microneedles and radio frequency energy are able to penetrate to the right layer of the skin. The device will be passed over the treatment area and you may feel a mild pressure or pricking sensation, and/or some heat. The treatment time will depend on the size of the treatment area and how many areas of the face and body are being addressed. How Long Does it Take to Recover From Morpheus8?
You may notice some mild redness and swelling at the treatment site immediately after treatment. In the 12 to 48 hours post-procedure, you may also feel a slight itching sensation as the healing response kicks in, or additional warmth in the skin. We will provide you with a list of suitable topicals you can use to ensure your skin heals optimally.
For the best results, we strongly recommend:

Keep out of the sun for at least 72 hours after a Morpheus8 treatment and consistently use a gentle mineral sunscreen every day thereafter

Avoid alcohol for at least 72 hours post-procedure and for a week after, do not take anti-inflammatory drugs such as Aspirin, Advil or Motrin

Do not exercise, enter a sauna or take hot baths 24 hours after treatment
